Elmer is survived by his spouse Betty Jane Cohn of Reagan; son Jeff Cohn and spouse Bevil; and daughter Gail Cohn Woodward, all of Waco; grandchildren Chad Connally and wife Stacy of Crawford; Courtney Lafferty and husband Randy of China Spring; Clayton Bynum and spouse Rebekah of Boerne; Clark Bynum of Austin; Â Stephen Woodward and wife Megan of Leander; Michael Woodward and wife Jessica of Kyle; Randall Woodward and wife Audra of Cedar Springs; and Nick Cohn of Farmers Branch; nice-grandchildren Chance and Logan Connally, Brayden, Masen, and Landen Lafferty, Scout, Hazel, and Asa Bynum, and Bradley, Blake, Wyatt, and Harper Woodward; one sister Norma Winkler of Belton; one brother Leslie Cohn of Katy; and sister-in-regulation Mary Ann Cohn Hayes of Chilton. Survivors include daughter Carolyn (Keith) Hiatt of Greensboro, NC, son Don (Audrey) Torgerson of Wickenburg, AZ, and daughter Janet (Shane) Sanders of Crawford, Texas.

Mrs. Torgerson was born August 25,1929, in Marlin to dad and mom Ruth Thomas Davison and Hugh Tankersley Davison. Mrs. Torgerson supported the Reagan Homecoming affiliation and the Marlin Main Street Project. A reception will follow the service within the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church, Marlin. Her grandchildren are Matthew (Lindsey) Hiatt, Andrew Hiatt, Stuart (Anna) Sanders, Daniel (April) Sanders, Susannah (Will) Gullette, Kim (Jeff) Cruecen, Michelle (Keith) Tucker, Richard (Martha) Claypoole and twelve nice-grandchildren. Funeral companies shall be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 16, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Marlin, Texas, with Pastor Stuart Sanders officiating.
