Straddle Poker means blind bet. Usually twice the size of the big blind, before the cards are dealt. This bet is effectively a blind raise, doubling the stakes before the cards are even dealt. Once the straddle is placed, the action proceeds as if the straddle is a third or second blind. Players act in turn, starting with the player to the left of the straddle.
